Joined the University in 1957 as the Dean of Faculty and instructor of typing and business machines…became Vice President of the school in the spring of 1970…elected President on July 1, 1971…was a catalyst in the development of what was then New Hampshire College (NHC)…worked with the NEASC to achieve accreditation candidacy for NHC…moved the college to its present day location at 2500 North River Road in 1971…oversaw production of NHC’s first dorm and townhouse buildings…during his administration initiated the construction of vital buildings such as the library, faculty offices, classrooms, computer and academic buildings…resigned from his position as President on January 23, 1987 after 16 years in that position.
