Sophomore Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) fired a 4-under 68 to sit atop the leaderboard at the Granite State Opener, while the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team is in third place following Monday's opening round at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

• Rollins made five birdies and holds a one-stroke lead heading into Tuesday's final round.
• Sophomore Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), senior Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.) and junior Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) all tied for 27th with a 3-over 75.

NOTES

• Senior Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) carded a 76 that was dropped from the team score.
• Freshmen Mitchell Cormier (Walpole, N.H.) and Drew Cameron (Londonderry, N.H.), playing as individuals, shot 77 and 79, respectively.
• Post University (288) is in first place by two strokes over Dominican (N.Y.) University (290).
• Rollins holds a one-shot lead over Post's Ethan Phillips and Bill Koch, who each shot a 3-under 69.
• The Granite State Opener is comprised of 75 golfers from 13 different institutions.
