MANCHESTER, N.H.—The Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team dropped a 15-4 decision to No. 1 Le Moyne College on Saturday afternoon at Larkin Field.  With the loss, the Penmen conclude the season at 4-9 overall and 3-7 in Northeast-10 Conference play, while the win boosts the top-ranked Dolphins to 12-1 overall and 10-0 in league play. 

The Dolphins would take a 4-0 lead after one quarter of play and would enter halftime with a 6-1 advantage.  SNHU would score the first goal of the second half as Greg Reynolds (Scituate, Mass.) carried the ball to the net and deked the Dolphins goaltender, but Le Moyne would answer with five-straight goals to take the 11-2 lead entering the final quarter of play, where the Dolphins outscored the Penmen 4-2 to post the 15-4 final score. 

In addition to Reynolds, John Cuozzo (Norfolk, Mass.), Keith Merluzzo (Billerica, Mass.) and Peter Vacca (Billerica, Mass.) all tallied unassisted goals for the Penmen. 

Tyler Sennett, Matt Chadderdon, Nick Blumer and Chris Button each had two goals each for Le Moyne, while Jack Venditti posted a game-high three assists. 

Eric Gunst (Exeter, N.H.) took the loss in net for the Penmen and posted 12 saves in 47:20 of work before giving way to Brendan O'Brien (Hopkinton, Mass.) who recorded three saves.  Jeff White earned the win for the Dolphins and recorded five saves while allowing just one goal in 30 minutes of work.  Connor Smart played 27:06 of the second half and recorded four saves while giving up three goals.

Southern New Hampshire concludes its season just one spot out of contention for Northeast-10 Conference postseason play and wraps up with an overall record of 4-9.
