Female Athlete of the Week: Ana Pimenta - Women's Volleyball - R-Sr., OH
Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) registered 48 kills (4.00 k/s), 22 digs (1.83 d/s) and seven blocks (0.58 b/s) during a 4-0 week for the Penmen. Pimenta recorded 11 kills, nine digs and a pair of blocks in a three-set win against Georgian Court University and then finished off the Saturday doubleheader with a double-double of 13 kills, 10 digs and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Edinboro University. Pimenta racked up 12 kills against both Southern Connecticut and Saint Michael's in two more three-set victories Sunday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Jürgen Huber - Men's Soccer - Gr., GK 
Jürgen Huber (Schorfling, Austria) made all 12 saves he needed to for a pair of clean sheets in a 2-0 week for the Penmen. Huber began his Penmen career with five stops in a 2-0 win against Mercy University on Thursday and then racked up seven more saves in another 2-0 blanking of Jefferson University on Sunday.


Women's Soccer (2-0-0, 0-0-0 NE10)

Notes:
- The Penmen began the season 2-0-0 for the fourth straight campaign and the seventh time since 2013 with a pair of wins at Franklin Pierce over the weekend. SNHU opened with a 1-0 blanking of Bridgeport University on Friday and came back with a 4-1 triumph over Mercy University on Sunday.
- Senior Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) registered four points on a pair of goals. Anderson scored the lone goal in the 57th minute against Bridgeport and then found the back of the net again in the 55th minute versus Mercy.
- Freshman Liv Gantelius (Lindingoe, Sweden) also scored twice, with both goals coming in the win over the Mavericks. Gantelius made it 2-0 in the 30th minute and struck again to extend the lead to 4-0 in the 79th minute.
- Junior Mikayla Thompson (Milford, N.H.) also scored her first career goal to stake the Penmen to a 1-0 lead against Mercy.
- Sophomore Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) stopped nine of the 10 shots she faced during the week against a pair of opponents receiving votes in the national poll. In her second career start, Keith notched a seven-save shutout against Bridgeport. She then made a pair of saves versus Mercy, nearly recording her second clean sheet before yielding a goal in the 85th minute.

Notes:
- Men's soccer began the season 2-0-0 for the second straight season with a pair of 2-0 victories against Mercy University (Thursday) and Jefferson University (Sunday).
- Junior Luca Shubitidze (Leipzig, Germany) scored a goal and added an assist in the win over Jefferson.
- Junior Isnaba Namussé (Fogo, Cape Verde) found the back of the net just over six minutes into season opener to set the tone.
- Senior Thore Ulstein (Vennesla, Norway) and sophomore Philipp Herrmann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) also added goals.
- Graduate student Jürgen Huber (Schorfling, Austria) made all 12 saves he needed to for a pair of clean sheets. Huber began his Penmen career with five stops against the Mavericks and then racked up seven more saves versus the Rams.

Notes:
- Women's volleyball opened the season 4-0 and winning 12 straight sets for the second consecutive season. The Penmen posted three-set wins against Georgian Court University and Edinboro University on Saturday, before adding two more 3-0 victories versus Southern Connecticut State University and Saint Michael's College on Sunday.
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) registered 48 kills (4.00 k/s), 22 digs (1.83 d/s) and seven blocks (0.58 b/s) during the week. Pimenta recorded 11 kills, nine digs and a pair of blocks against Georgian Court and then finished off the doubleheader with a double-double of 13 kills, 10 digs and three blocks versus Edinboro. Pimenta racked up 12 kills against both Southern Connecticut and Saint Michael's.
- Junior Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) tallied 42 digs (3.50 d/s), five aces (0.42 sa/s) and 12 assists (1.00 a/s). Wilson combined for 18 digs Saturday, before racking up 24 Sunday, including 15 against Saint Michael's.
- Graduate student Dai Thawnghmung (Lowell, Mass.) recorded 29 kills (2.42 k/s), four aces, 21 digs (1.75 d/s) and four blocks (0.33 b/s). She produced nine kills (.300), five digs and two blocks against the Purple Knights.
- Sophomore Ella Koelb (Auburn, N.H.) tallied 69 assists (8.63 a/s), 17 digs (2.13 d/s), seven kills (0.88 k/s) and four blocks (0.50 b/s), playing in three of SNHU's four wins this weekend. Koelb's most impressive stat line came in a three-set win against Georgian Court with 30 helpers, eight digs and three blocks.
- Grad student Alessandra Peli (Brescia, Italy) posted 19 kills (2.11 k/s), seven aces and nine blocks (1.00 b/s) in three matches. She had five aces against the Lions and nine kills versus Edinboro.


Field Hockey (0-1, 0-0 NE10)

- Field hockey began the season 0-1 with a 2-1 loss to Bloomsburg University on Thursday.
- Freshman Mia Fischer (Hanover, Germany) scored with 1:26 left in the contest to pull the Penmen within one.
- Sophomore Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) made three saves.

Notes:
- The women's and men's cross country teams ran their first race of the season Saturday at Saint Anselm College's Shacklette Invitational.
- The women came away victorious for the fourth consecutive season, with sophomore Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) finishing fourth in 25:04.2.
- The men also captured the meet for the second straight year, led by sophomore Dillon Labonte (Lee, N.H.), who placed second in 27:33.5.
