MANSFIELD, Mass. - Freshman Eric Sekyaya (Burlington, Mass.) was named Northeast-10 Male Cross Country Rookie of the Week on Tuesday.
Sekyaya was the top finisher for the SNHU Men's Cross Country team at Sunday's UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational, finishing 41st in 25:48.7 in a competitive field. The Penmen were ranked fifth in the East Region in the most recent USTFCCCA poll.
The Penmen (men and women) will next compete at the Battle In Beantown on Friday, September 29. The men's race at Franklin Park is scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m.
