Female Athlete of the Week: Emma Peeters - Field Hockey - So., GK
Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) stopped 15 of the 19 shots she faced during a 1-1 week for field hockey. Peeters turned away 10 shots against the Greyhounds and then stopped five of six versus Saint Michael's. Her sixth career win moves her into a second-place tie on the program's all-time list.

Male Athlete of the Week: Iago Perez - Men's Soccer - So., F
Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain) scored two goals during a 1-0-1 week for men's soccer. Both goals came in a 2-2 tie with 21st-ranked Post University on Wednesday, as he found the back of the net twice in the opening 18 minutes to stake SNHU to a 2-0 lead.

- Men's soccer went 1-0-1 last week, playing to a 2-2 draw with 21st-ranked Post University on Wednesday, before blanking Queens (N.Y.) College on the road Saturday.
- Sophomore Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain) scored two goals against Post, as he found the back of the net twice in the opening 18 minutes to stake SNHU to a 2-0 lead.
- Junior Shane Siegel (Selden, N.Y.) had the lone strike versus the Knights, scoring in the 54th minute.
- Junior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) made six saves against Queens for his fourth career shutout.
- Graduate student Jürgen Huber (Schorfling, Austria) stopped two shots against Post, as he saw his shutout streak to begin his Penmen career end at 224:14.


Women's Volleyball (5-3, 0-0 NE10)

- Women's volleyball went 1-3 on its trip to Minnesota, splitting a pair of matches Friday with No. 5 St. Cloud State University (0-3) and Northern Michigan University (3-0), before dropping two Saturday to Michigan Technological University (0-3) and the University of Minnesota Duluth (1-3)
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) amassed 43 kills (3.31 k/s), two aces, 12 digs (0.92 d/s) and seven blocks (0.54 b/s) in the four matches, as she was named to the Up North All-Tournament Team for her efforts. Pimenta racked up 14 kills against Northern Michigan and then had 14 more in the loss to Minnesota Duluth on Saturday.
- Junior Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) collected 66 digs (5.08 d/s), two aces and six assists (0.46 a/s). Wilson had 19 digs and an ace in the triumph over Northern Michigan and then gathered 22 digs, and served up another ace in the Duluth defeat.
- Graduate student Dai Thawnghmung (Lowell, Mass.) racked up 31 kills (2.38 k/s), 29 digs (2.23 d/s) and six blocks (0.46).
- Grad student Alessandra Peli (Brescia, Italy) added nine kills and a team-best 17 blocks (1.31 b/s).

Notes:
- Field hockey went 1-1 last week, suffering a 3-1 road loss to Assumption University on Wednesday, before recording its first win of the year against Saint Michael's (2-1) on Saturday.
- Junior Eliza Bates (Newport, N.H.) registered a goal and an assist, scoring the lone goal against Assumption and assisting on the 34th-minute equalizer at Saint Michael's.
- Freshmen Jade Hendriks (Huissen, Netherlands) and Amelia Crocombe (Somerset, England) scored third-quarter goals against the Purple Knights.
- Sophomore Emma Peeters (Wageningen, Netherlands) stopped 15 of the 19 shots she faced. Peeters turned away 10 shots against the Greyhounds and then stopped five of six versus Saint Michael's.
