GAME 1
 - SNHU 2-1
  • The Penmen received another strong outing in the circle from sophomore Leine McKechnie (Passadumkeag, Maine) who allowed a run on five hits in a complete-game effort to improve to 2-2.
  • SNHU trailed 1-0 after four innings after an RBI double by Kodi Gora plated a run for the Yellow Jackets.
  • The Penmen drew even in the top of the fifth inning.  Singles by senior Emily Carbonneau (Lowell, Mass.) and senior Brittany Mota (Lowell, Mass.) started the inning.  The runners moved up on a fly out by freshman Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.).  A bunt by junior Abi Gray (Litchfield, Mass.) scored the tying run.
  • Another bunt produced the game-winning run in the sixth inning.  Sophomore Alyssa DiMauro (Chester, N.H.) walked and a single by sophomore Shannon Gifford (Goffstown, N.H.) put runners at the corners for a successful bunt by sophomore Bella Dickinson (Scarborough, Maine).
GAME 2 - SNHU 6-5
  • The Penmen rallied again for a win in the second game after falling behind twice, 2-0 and 3-2.
  • Griffin homered in the top of third inning to tie the game at 2-2.
  • SNHU drew even at 3-3 in the top of the fourth inning after a triple by Garczynski, and an RBI groundout by DiMauro.
  • The Penmen moved ahead in the top of the fifth inning with three runs.  Gray delivered two of them with a single, and freshman Autumn Stevens (Nottingham, N.H.) added another run with a sacrifice fly for her first career RBI.
  • The Yellow Jackets scored twice in the sixth, but freshman Gwyn Hammond (Los Angeles, Calif.) worked a perfect seventh inning to complete a long relief effort with her fifth win.
