Karlee Ziliak (Evansville, Ind.) led three Penmen in double figures with a game-high 16 points as the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team concluded the regular season with a 69-50 win over St. Michael's College on Tuesday night. SNHU enters the NE10 Championship as the top overall seed and will await the winner of Assumption/Southern Connecticut for the quarterfinal round. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Stan Spirou Field House.

- Sophomore Jessica Knight (Hanover, Mass.) 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 FT), 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists
- Senior Jenna Roche (Braintree, Mass.) - 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3PT, 1-1 FT), 6 rebounds, 8 assists
- Senior Danielle Sirois (Pelham, N.H.) - 4 points (2-3 FG,), 11 rebounds, 2 assists
KEY MOMENTS
- The first quarter was truly a back-and-forth affair with no team leading by more than 3 points and the teams going to the break at 18-18.
- SNHU would score the first hoop of the second quarter and led throughout going to the half up 32-28.
- The Penmen would extend the lead to 15 at 43-28 with just over 6 minutes to play in the third.
- The Purple Knights would cut it to 49-42 with 7:37 left in regulation.
- SNHU responded with a 15-0 run to stretch the lead to 64-42 and seal the win.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Eight different players factored in scoring with three in double figures and two with nine points.
- Sirois' 11 rebounds was a career high for the senior.
- SNHU held a 43-34 rebounding advantage.
- The Penmen shot 47.5% from the floor, compared to just 29.9% for the Purple Knights.

- SNHU wins 21 games in a season for the first time since 1989-90 (22-8). The Penmen won a program record 22 games that season, advancing to the NCAA tournament.Â
- The Penmen have now won four-straight over the Purple Knights and seven of the last eight against St. Michael's.
- The win extends SNHU's win streak to six straight games; matching the longest winning streak of the season.

- The Penmen earned the top-seed in the upcoming NE10 Women's Basketball Championship. SNHU, which earned a bye, will await the winner of Assumption/Southern Connecticut for a quarterfinal matchup. Tipoff is Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Stan Spirou Field House.
