(Goffstown, N.H.) -- The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team earned the first four points of the match to cruise to a 5-2 win over Post University on Sunday afternoon at Allard Center.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Freshman Thomas Guy (Fulda, Germany; 7-5, 6-4) secured the win at No. 2 singles (7-5, 6-4) over Nino Krneta. Guy and Emmanuel Vacalares (Cagayan de Oro, Philippines; 6-4), won on the top doubles pair.
- Freshman Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) also registered a pair of wins at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-3) over Gustavo Kerber and at No. 2 doubles with Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick; 6-3;6-0) to help SNHU secure the win. The Penmen also saw wins in singles by No. 3 Vacalares (6-1, 6-4) and No. 6 Â Zach Duboulay (Castries, Saint Lucia) (6-7(4), 6-3, 11-9).1-
- Boris Stastny (Prague, Czech Republic; 5-7, 6-0, 4-6) and Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick; 6-6, 7-2) rounded up singles play for the Penmen.
