Senior Eamonn Joyce (Medford, Mass.) scored 22 points, including the eventual game-winning free throws, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball team rallied for a 67-65 victory over Assumption College on Saturday at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire, which led by as many as 17, trailed, 65-59, with less than four-and-a-half minutes to go in the game, when it went on an 8-0 run - bookended by pairs of Joyce free throws - to snatch the win. Joyce's final two free throws that put the Penmen ahead came with 1:02 on the clock.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Malik Brown led Assumption with 22 points (6-18 FG, 1-1 3-FG, 9-11 FT), nine rebounds and four assists.
- The Penmen outshot the Greyhounds, 43.4 percent (23-53) to 34.4 percent (22-64), while both teams shot 28.6 percent from long range, SNHU made two more (8-28) than Assumption (6-21).
- Assumption was plus-2 at the line, while Southern New Hampshire shot it better, 81.3 percent (13-16) to 75 percent (15-20).
- The Penmen captured the paint (26-24), collected more points off turnovers (14-13) and on the fast break (8-6), and received more scoring from their bench (12-4), while Assumption won the glass (42-32), gathered more second chance points (10-2), and registered a slightly better assist-to-turnover ratio (12/13-11/12).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire has won five of its last six games, while Assumption loses for the fifth time in six contests.
- SNHU, which leads the all-time series, 34-15, has now won 12 of the last 14 meetings, including six of seven at home.
- The teams split the regular-season series, as Assumption protected its home court with an 87-86 win Nov. 23.
- Joyce reaches the 20-point plateau for the 10th time this season and 20th time in an SNHU uniform.
- Joyce passes Aleksandar Dobrovic (2011-15), John Burrus (1981-85) and John Astarita 1968-71) to move into 48th place on SNHU's all-time scoring list with 1,022 points.
