Senior Molly Terry (Shrewsbury, Mass.) exploded for a career-high 25 points to lead the Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team to a 74-68 win at Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday evening at the FPU Fieldhouse.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire led, 38-28, to begin the second half, when an 8-2 rush - with three points each from Terry and Roche - gave the Penmen their largest lead of the contest at 46-30 less than two minutes into the third quarter.Â
- The SNHU advantage was 15 with six minutes remaining when Franklin Pierce ripped off a 20-7 run - led by six points each from Sophia Holmes and Izzy Lipinski - to slash its deficit to 70-68 with just 16 seconds remaining. Terry fittingly would all but seal it with a pair of free throws, while Russell followed with two more to put it away.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Holmes paced Franklin Pierce with 15 points (5-12 FG, 5-11 3-FG), while Emma Carter (5-8 FG, 4-4 FT) and Lipinski (5-17 FG, 3-3 FT) netted 14 and 13, respectively.
- The Ravens outshot the Penmen, 44.6 percent (25-56) to 40.3 percent (25-62), while the Penmen returned the favor from distance, 40.6 percent (13-32) to 36.8 percent (7-19).
- Franklin Pierce was a perfect 11-for-11 (100%) from the stripe, while SNHU was just 11-for-17 (64.7%).
- The Penmen won the glass (38-31), gathered more second chance points (12-6) and points on the fast break (10-7), received more scoring from their bench (20-9) and submitted a slightly better assist-to-turnover ratio (16/14-16/15), while the Ravens captured the paint (30-24) and collected more points off turnovers (19-17).
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire wins for the third time in five games, while Franklin Pierce loses for the third time in four contests.
- Franklin Pierce leads the all-time series, 59-32, despite SNHU having now won 10 of the last 11 meetings, including six straight. It is also the third straight road win in the series for the Penmen, who have not lost to the Ravens in Rindge since Feb. 15, 2017 (76-69).
- The Penmen sweep the regular-season series from the Ravens, as they secured a 73-68 home win back on Jan. 8
- Terry, whose previous career high was 21 points at Adelphi University Jan. 23, 2018, also set new career marks in field goals made (8) and 3-pointers made (7).
- The 13 3-pointers matched a single-game program record for the Penmen, who have now reached the mark on five occasions, including twice this season.
