MANCHESTER, N.H. -
Visiting Stonehill College posted a 6-3 Northeast-10 women's tennis
victory over Southern New Hampshire University at the SNHU courts
on Tuesday afternoon. The Skyhawks improved to 11-3 and 7-1
in Northeast-10 play, while the Penmen are now 4-4 overall and in
the league.
Amanda Nason
(Center Sandwich, NH) posted two wins on the day for the Penmen, as
she was a 6-4, 6-3 winner at No. 6 singles while also teaming up
with Melissa Ramos (Stoughton, MA) at No. 3
doubles for a 8-3 win. Nason and Ramos remain unbeaten in
doubles play this season at 7-0. Freshman Catalina
Echeverry (Cali, Colombia) took down the other point for
SNHU as she was a 6-4, 6-3 winner at first singles.
Women's tennis returns to action on
Sunday afternoon when it hosts American International College for a
1:00 match.
