Notes: Southern New Hampshire lost for the fourth time in six games Saturday with a 15-14 defeat at Franklin Pierce. The Penmen dug out of a 6-0 hole to begin the game and used a 9-1 run spanning the two halves to take a 13-10 lead, but could not hang on. Junior Alexa Bedell notched six points on four goals and two assists. Fellow junior Kennedy Daziel scored three times, while freshman Merry Harrington also recorded three points on two goals and an assist. Senior goalkeeper Nicole Kennedy stopped three of the 10 shots she faced over the opening 23:07 of action, while sophomore Leah Olansky turned aside five shots over the final 36:53.

Notes: Assumption won its second straight and fifth in the last seven outings with a 24-15 win at Dominican (N.Y.) on Monday. The Greyhounds led, 8-7, when they scored four of the final five goals of the first half to take a 12-8 lead into the break. They then scored four of the first five goals of the second half and five of the game's final six to put it away. Sophomore Sarah Reilly did the most damage with five goals and four assists for nine points. Freshman Amanda Burns and junior Caitlin Graves each potted four goals and dished a helper, while senior Quincy Wilkins tallied two goals and two assists. Senior goalkeeper Jaclyn Chirco stopped 11 of the 22 shots she faced before being relieved for the final 22:18 by freshman Kyra Goucher, who made two saves.
