Notes: Southern New Hampshire is coming off one of its most succesful seasons ever, going 12-6 to fall one victory shy of the program record for wins ... the Penmen, who qualified for the NE10 Championship for the first time since 2011, finished their season ranked 20th in the country ... the team returns 86 percent of its roster from last season, including five of its top six scorers and more than 80 percent of its overall offense ... sophomore Kristen Wilder (Framingham, Mass.) leads the charge after setting a new records for goals in a season (76) and points in a season by a freshman (85) ... Wilder, the NE10 Rookie of the Year, was joined on the All-Conference First Team, IWLCA North All-Region Second Team and IWLCA All-America Second Team by junior Alexa Bedell (Londonderry, N.H.) ... also back is NE10 Second Team and IWLCA North All-Region Second Team goalkeeper, senior Nicole Kennedy (Windham, Maine) ... leading them all will be first-year head coach Kathryn Beall, who takes over after two seasons as the head coach at Nichols College ... the Penmen were selected to finish seventh in the league in the NE10 Preseason Coaches' Poll ... SNHU begins its season Wednesday, March 1 (4 p.m.) when it hits the road to take on Chestnut Hill.
