4x400 Relay Team Named Northeast-10 Women’s Track and Field Relay Team of the Week

NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's track and field 4x400-meter relay team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Track and Field Relay Team of the Week on Tuesday, as the league announced its weekly award winners.

The Penmen 4x400 team, which consisted of freshman Megan Decker (Durham, Conn.), and sophomores Madison Brand (Valhalla, N.Y.), Jill Dieterich (Commack, N.Y.) and Alanna Murphy (Nashua, N.H.) breezed past the field to finish atop the event standings at the Plymouth State University Winter Open. The Southern New Hampshire contingent completed the event in 4 minutes, 20.97 seconds, which was nearly eight seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. As a team, the Penmen finished third overall with 114.50 points.

Southern New Hampshire is idle until January 20, 2018 when it returns to Plymouth State for the Panther Invite.
