Notes: The Penmen look to build upon Wednesday night’s win over Saint Michael’s College in their penultimate home game Friday evening. Southern New Hampshire snapped a six-game skid with a 10-5 win over the Purple Knights Wednesday for its second Northeast-10 Conference win of the season. Freshman Tristan Pietz (Dudley, Mass.) tied a career high with five points to lead the SNHU attack after scoring three goals and assisting two others. Senior Tom Schutz (Trumbull, Conn.) tacked on four points with a pair of goals and two assists in support of redshirt sophomore Neal Murray (Marblehead, Mass.), who steered aside 11 of the 16 shots he faced. Southern New Hampshire will honor its eight graduating student athletes prior to Friday night’s contest.

Notes: The Ravens head over to Penmen Stadium looking to halt their current four-game slide. Franklin Pierce stumbled at home in its most recent outing to fourth-ranked Merrimack College, 18-8, on Wednesday. Senior Jake Castorf (Holbrook, N.Y.) shouldered the offensive load for the Ravens with four points on a goal and three assists, while classmate Luke Tracy (Windham, N.H.) registered a hat trick in the setback. Sophomore Justin Lorenzo (Goshen, N.Y.) stopped four shots in the Ravens’ cage to move to 4-5 overall.
