PREVIEW: Volleyball Entertains Merrimack Tonight

THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire dropped a 3-2 decision to Assumption on Tuesday evening...senior Danielle Coffey posted a team-high 13 kills and added five blocks at the net...after two matches, she leads the Penmen in kills (24) and blocks (13)...Megan Lesczynski ranks second on the squad in kills with 18...freshman setter Kendra Mikuta posted a match-best 37 assists against Assumption and has tallied 64 assists through two games...Peyton Williams has posted a team-best 41 digs, including 24 against Assumption...Erica Solomon has totaled 12 kills and 25 digs over the Penmen's two matches...Ashlee Daoust has added 10 kills and 24 digs for the Penmen...SNHU posted a 10-14 record last season and a 6-9 record in Northeast-10 Conference play...the Penmen return four of the top-five leaders in kills from the 2010 squad.

THE WARRIORS: Merrimack opened the season with a win against Saint Anselm before dropping two matches to Mercy and Stonehill...Stephanie Sheehan leads the Warriors in kills with 39 through three matches...she also leads the Warriors in digs with 26...Jenna Reilly and Jackie Jones have tallied 24 and 23 kills, respectively...Reilly and Nicole Duarte have tallied five blocks apiece for Merrimack...Brianna Trabucco has a combined total of 84 assists and is averaging 7.00 assists per game...Trabucco has also added 23 digs, while Duarte, Jones, and Shaunda Forcier have tallied 15 digs apiece...the Warriors are attacking at a .165 percentage through their first three games.

HEAD TO HEAD: Merrimack posted two 3-1 wins against the Penmen in the 2010 season...Molly Cindric tallied 18 kills to lead the Warriors to the win at SNHU in the second meeting of the season.
