Volleyball Falls to Adelphi in Season Finale
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - Southern New Hampshire
University closed out its 2009 season with a 3-1 loss to Adelphi
University in Northeast-10 volleyball action Saturday
afternoon. Adelphi improves to 25-8 overall and 14-1 in the
Northeast-10, while the Penmen conclude the season 10-14 and 4-11
in the league.
Hilary Pavels led Adelphi with 13 kills, while Amy Williams totaled 24 digs and Jennifer McKenna 14. Heather Mau handed out 34 assists.
Kim Rowe (Exeter, N.H.) led Southern New Hampshire with 10 kills, while Stephanie Dluginski (Floral Park, N.Y.) added nine kills and four block assists. Caitlin Wilson (Milton, N.H.) and Ashley Dingle (Malone, N.Y.) each totaled 13 digs, while Lauren Lorenz (Frankfort, Ill.) handed out 20 assists.
