Vamvakitis Three-Peats as Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week

NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – For the third consecutive week and fourth time this season, freshman Diana Vamvakitis (Wading River, N.Y.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week.

Vamvakitis finished a perfect 4-0 in singles and doubles play as the Penmen posted a 2-0 week.  She posted a pair of wins at No. 2 singles as well as two wins at No. 1 doubles as Southern New Hampshire defeated Stonehill and Merrimack.  Vamvakitis remains one of three SNHU players to remain unbeaten in Northeast-10 singles play this season.

Southern New Hampshire returns to action on Friday afternoon when it travels to Saint Michael's College for a 3:00 match.
