Terry M. Prouty, a 1988 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University and member of the university's Athletic Hall of Fame, was named women's soccer coach at SNHU on May 10, 1999.

Prouty, who also serves as Senior Women's Administrator at the university, succeeded Peter Tufts. Tufts served as SNHU's women's soccer coach from 1982 to 1998.

Prouty, who won her 100th career game at the start of the 2012 season with a 2-0 win over Holy Family, has guided the Penmen to a pair of NCAA tournament berths in 2003 and 2012.  She has also guided her alma mater to seven Northeast-10 Tournament appearances, including the program’s first NE-10 title in 2012, as well as semifinal appearances in 2003 and 2011.

Prior to returning to her alma mater, Prouty spent two years at Keene State College where she served as the school's assistant director of athletics and assistant women's soccer coach.

A native of East Bridgewater, Mass., Prouty began her career in college athletics in 1994 when she was named senior women's administrator and women's soccer coach at Daniel Webster College. She also served as DWC's softball coach and eventually took over as the school's director of athletics before leaving for Keene State in 1997.  

Her extensive soccer coaching experience also includes stints with the Nashua Girls Soccer Association, the New Hampshire Olympic Development Program and the New Hampshire Lady Phantoms.

She began her coaching career at Manchester (N.H.) Memorial High School, where she served as softball coach from 1993 to 1995.

Prouty excelled on the soccer and softball fields during her four years at SNHU. A four-time All-New England selection in soccer, she led the program to 68 victories and a pair of Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) titles. The most dominant pitcher in the history of SNHU softball, she led the team to its only two ECAC Tournament appearances and ranks among the program's all-time leaders in career strikeouts (131), career wins (32) and career earned run average (1.50). She was inducted into the university's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997.

A 1984 graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Prouty collected Boston Globe, Boston Herald and Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic honors in both soccer and softball.

Deb Robitaille begins her 14th season as assistant women's soccer coach at SNHU. She also serves as head softball coach at the university and was voted Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year after leading the SNHU softball team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2006.

Robitaille is a 1984 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School where she was a member of the girl's soccer team and collected first-team All-State honors as a senior. She also participated in the Lion's Cup All-Star game following her senior year.

The UNH-Manchester graduate served as girl's junior varsity soccer coach at Memorial High School from 1986 to 1995, before being named head girl's soccer coach at Concord High School in 1996. She spent three years at Concord and also served as goalkeeping coach at Keene State College during her final season with the Crimson Tide. Robitaille has also coached in the Manchester South Junior Soccer League and the U14 Granite State Travel League.

Rachel Smith is entering her third season as an assistant women’s soccer coach at SNHU.

A native of Carlisle, Pa., Smith was a four-year standout at Northeast-10 rival Franklin Pierce University.  A stalwart defender, she was named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior, and was a three-time All-America selection.  She helped lead the Ravens to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a berth in the 2007 Division II championship game.

A 2010 graduate of Franklin Pierce with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management, Smith garnered ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America honors as a senior and was FPU’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Smith, who currently resides in Chichester, N.H., is pursuing her master’s degree in Sport Management at SNHU.

Ariel Teixeira

After wrapping up a standout four-year career with the SNHU women’s soccer program, Ariel Teixeira enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Penmen in 2012.

A four-year starter for Southern New Hampshire, Teixeira, a Warren, R.I. native, finished her career with 25 goals and 25 assists for 75 points, placing her seventh in program history in assists and 10th in career points.  Just the third four-time All-Conference recipient in program history, Teixeira garnered Northeast-10 First Team honors in each of her final three seasons and was named an NSCAA Third Team All-American as a senior.  Teixeira was also a three-time NSCAA First Team All-Region selection as well as a member of the NE-10 All-Academic Team as a senior.

A three-time First Team All-State selection at Mount Hope HS, Teixeira tallied 17 goals and eight assists as a senior en route to leading the Huskies to a Division I state title.

Teixeira graduated in 2012 from SNHU with a degree in Sport Management.

Andi Wilson is entering her second season as an assistant coach of the women's soccer program after graduating from SNHU in 2011 with a B.S. in Sport Management. 

Prior to coaching, Wilson was a four-year member of the Penmen program.  She appeared in 66 games over her career with the Penmen and was started 28 times.  She scored three goals during her senior year including two game-winning goals. 

A native of North Kingston, R.I., Wilson is a 2007 graduate of North Kingston High School, where she lettered in soccer, basketball and track. 

Wilson currently resides in Manchester, N.H. and is pursuing a graduate degree in business administration.
