Notes: Second-seeded Southern New Hampshire reached the semifinals of the Northeast-10 Championship with a 2-0 quarterfinal victory against seventh-seeded Bentley on Tuesday. Senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine) started the scoring in the eighth minute off the second career assist from freshman Reanna Romano (Derry, N.H.), while senior Trisha Luis (Lowell, Mass.) iced it with a goal at the 85-minute mark. Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.H.) made a pair of saves for her 11th shutout of the season. The Penmen, who are in the semifinal for just the fourth time ever and first since winning its only league title in 2012, are now 6-7 (.462) all-time in the NE10 Championship. SNHU is 8-0-1 at home this season and has given up just one goal in 830:00 of action at Larkin Field. Southern New Hampshire will host the championship match Sunday, Nov. 5 with a victory.

Notes: Sixth-seeded Assumption snapped a four-game skid with a 3-0 upset victory at third-seeded Saint Rose on Tuesday. The league's leading scorer, junior Kallie Villemaire, scored goals No. 18, 19 and 20 of the season, as she notched her second hat trick of the year to provide all the scoring. Villemaire's goals all came in the first half in the ninth, 12th and 28th minutes. Sophomore goalkeeper Alexis Nason made all six saves for her second clean sheet of the year. Assumption's four-match losing streak to end the regular season was started by a 1-0 loss at SNHU on Oct. 17. The Greyhounds last reached the semifinals in 2015 and last advanced to the title match in 2014.
