THE MATCHUP: Southern New Hampshire hosts the top-ranked team in Division II, entertaining Le Moyne Friday afternoon.

THE COACHES: Kate Mullen is in her third season at SNHU...Mullen guided the Penmen to their sixth straight Northeast-10 tournament appearance last season...prior to arriving at SNHU she guided Endicott to three straight NCAA tournament berths...she owns a career record of 65-38...Beth Hewitt is in her third season at Le Moyne...an All-America performer at North Carolina, Hewitt was an assistant coach at Oregon for three seasons before arriving in Syracuse...she owns a 35-9 career mark.

THE SERIES:SNHU and Le Moyne have met just once, as the Dolphins reclassified their program to Division II from Division I prior to last season...Le Moyne posted a 17-4 win in 2011 behind three goals and an assist from Brenna Bauer...Emily Mongeau and Phoebe Clark led the Penmen with a goal and an assist apiece.

THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire is coming off a 13-12 setback at No. 11 Merrimack on Wednesday night...seven of SNHU's nine games have been against nationally-ranked squads...the Penmen are led by Emily Mongeau, who has totaled 28 goals and eight assists...she became the program's all-time leader in career goals against Merrimack...Phoebe Clark has notched 18 goals and six assists, while Ellie Morin has recorded 19 goals and five assists...Jade Antonangeli has eight assists to go along with six goals, while freshman Emily King has tallied 11 goals and an assist...freshman Kellie Renk has started all nine games in goal and has registered 78 saves.

THE DOLPHINS: Le Moyne is coming off a 12-4 win over Bentley Sunday afternoon...Brittany Brigandi leads the Dolphins with 35 goals and six assists for 41 points...she was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week on Monday afternoon...Brenna Bauer has totaled 16 goals and eight assists, while Gabrielle Kamide has recorded 14 goals and three assists...Kelly Condon has 10 goals and seven assists, while Catie McKay has a team-best 10 assists to go along with five goals...Kelly Fucillo has started all eight games in goal and owns a 4.23 goals-against average and .630 save percentage.
