MANSFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Kaitlyn Lutinski (Derry, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's golf team was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, the league office announced Friday.
Lutinski averaged 88.5 across 16 rounds to lead the team, with a 79 at the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational on Sept. 4 serving as her best 18 holes. Lutinski again led the way at the Northeast-10 Championship on Sept. 25-26, placing 19th, while the Penmen finished in sixth. The team turned in an impressive fifth-place showing at the Kutztown Fall Invitational on Oct. 2-3, buoyed by Lutinski's 17th-place showing, before capping the fall by finishing third at their own Quechee Division II Challenge on Oct. 23, as Lutinski slotted 12th. The team opened the spring season with a fifth-place finish at the Women's Cougar Invitational on Feb. 28, as Lutinski checked in 17th, and then closed its season by finishing sixth at the Saint Rose Spring Classic, with Lutinski firing an 82 that placed her 11th.
