Notes: Sophomore Olivia Strasser threw her fifth shutout of the season as the Penmen won the nightcap of yesterday's doubleheader with Assumption 5-0.  Five different players drove in runs to lift #13 SNHU to a win after the Greyhounds put an end to the team's 22-game win streak with a 5-3, 10-inning decision in the opener.  The Penmen twice rallied to tie, but couldn't get past Assumption.  Still, Southern New Hampshire won the series, and remains a game ahead of second place Saint Anselm College in the NE10's Northeast Division.

Notes:  LIU Post, the leaders in the ECC, come to SNHU for a big regional doubleheader today.  The Pioneers ran a win streak to seven games with a pair of 3-1 victories at Saint Thomas Aquinas yesterday.   Senior Julia Seader is currently the ECC leader with a .473 average, and is tops with 13 homers and 38 RBI.   This is the first meeting between the teams since April 8, 2017.  The games at LIU Post last year were cancelled.
