Men's Tennis Hosts Bentley With Playoff Position on the Line Saturday

THE PENMEN: Southern New Hampshire, which is ranked sixth in the East Region ranking released Wednesday, is coming off a 9-0 win over Saint Michael's on Tuesday afternoon...Juan Arango-Campo leads the Penmen with a 16-3 record in singles play at No. 2, while Mitch Dobek has posted an 12-7 overall mark at first singles, including a dual-match mark of 10-6...Alex Mukdaprakorn is 8-7 at No. 3 singles, while freshman Mike Wallace has posted a 9-7 mark primarily at No. 4...in doubles play Dobek and Wallace are 12-4 overall.
THE FALCONS: Bentley saw a six-match win streak snapped with a 5-4 loss to Merrimack on Thursday afternoon...Lucas Wever is 8-4 in singles action playing primarily No. 1, while Zach Tuckman has played primarily at No. 2 and is 7-6 overall...Rodrigo Ribeiro is 11-6 overall, including an 8-3 mark at third singles.
THE SERIES: Bentley is 11-1 against SNHU all-time, with the Penmen picking up their first-ever win in the series last year, a 6-3 win during the regular season...the two teams met twice in the postseason, with the Falcons posting a 5-4 win in the Northeast-10 championship match and a 5-0 win in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
WHAT'S NEXT: Southern New Hampshire enters the Northeast-10 Tournament that kicks off Tuesday...with a win Saturday the Penmen will earn the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye, while a loss gives SNHU the third seed and a first-round match Tuesday afternoon at home.
