Redshirt sophomore Neal Murray (Marblehead, Mass.) stopped a career-high 21 shots, as the Penmen matched up with their sixth nationally ranked opponent in their last eight outings. Notes: The Purple Knights invade Penmen Stadium looking to snap a six-game skid of their own Wednesday. Saint Michael's fell to Bentley University Saturday, 12-5, to move to 0-6 within the confines of the Norhteast-10 Conference. Sophomore Joseph Gerardi (Queensbury, N.Y.) led the attack with two goals and an assist, and graduate student Brian Loughlin (Kingston, N.Y.) also turned in a multi-point effort with a score and a helper. The Purple Knights have battled a difficult schedule of their own with six of the last eight opponents on their schedule having either appeared in the national rankings or received votes in the USILA Coaches' Poll.
