Notes: The Penmen roll into Saturday's matinee with the Setters on the heels of a 14-9 victory over the College of Saint Rose. Sophomore Cole Jacobsen (Dartmouth, Mass.) led Southern New Hampshire a victory in its Northeast-10 Conference opener with a career-high five goals and two assists for a career-best seven points. Senior Tom Schutz (Trumbull, Conn.) found the back of the cage on four occasions and added a helper for five points, while sophomore Stephen Dubois (Goffstown, N.H.) collected a hat trick of his own. After falling behind, 4-1, early in the second quarter, the Penmen went for 10 goals in the second and third stanzas to take control of the contest. SNHU outscored the Golden Knights, 10-4, over the middle periods and added three goals in the fourth to pick up the win. Freshman Alex Sturgess (Derry, N.H.) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and Rookie of the Week after he turned aside a career-high 18 shots in the triumph.

Notes: The Setters look to remain unbeaten on the year when they make the trip to Penmen Stadium Saturday. Pace moved to 4-0 Wednesday when it topped New York Institute of Technology, 12-10, behind senior Daniel Keenan's (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) five-point showing. The Setters and Bears were locked up at 10 apiece late in the fourth quarter before graduate student Connor Vercuysse (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Keenan tallied back-to-back goals in the final five minutes to push eighth-ranked Pace past NYIT. Senior Bradley Paterson (Caldwell, N.J.) added four points on two goals and two assists in addition to Keenan's hat trick and pair of helpers. Freshman Louis Ragusa (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) earned the win in the Setter cage with 13 saves, while senior Matthew Simone (Seaford, N.Y.) and sophomore Joseph Diggle (West Islip, N.Y.) each registered multi-point outings.
