Woodford, Allen Earn Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference Honors in Men's Lacrosse
SOUTH EASTON, Mass.—Junior long-stick midfielder Ryan Woodford (Scituate, Mass.) and freshman attacker Corey Allen (Suffield, Conn.) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team have both garnered Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference honors, as Woodford was named to the Second Team and Allen was named to the All-Rookie team. It marks the first conference honors for both.
Woodford appeared in all 14 games this season at midfield for the Penmen and ranked among the top scorers on the roster with nine goals and two assists. He led the Penmen in both groundballs and caused turnovers with 65 and 37, respectively.
Allen wrapped up his rookie season as the second-highest point producer on the squad as he finished with 12 goals and a team-high 11 assists for a total of 23 assists. He notched a season-high eight points from four goals and four assists in the Penmen's 18-8 win against American International College on March 31.
The Penmen finished the season with a 3-11 overall record and a 3-7 record in Northeast-10 Conference play.
