Notes: The Penmen look to run their unbeaten streak to four consecutive games Saturday when they entertain Suffolk University at the Ice Den. Southern New Hampshire returned from a month-long layoff Tuesday and posted a 5-4 victory over Becker College. SNHU raced out to a 3-0 advantage in the first 5:22 of the contest, and tacked on a goal late in the first before potting what proved to be the game-winner early in the second. Seniors Chris Moquin (Hooksett, N.H.) and Kyle Valliere (Goffstown, N.H.) joined sophomore Brett Strawn (Wareham, Mass.) with a goal and an assist apiece, while senior Matt McLelland (Reading, Mass.) handed out a pair of helpers. Senior Timothy Baylis (West Haven, Conn.) and junior Joseph Berardi (Burlington, Mass.) each chipped in with a goal for the Penmen, who saw senior Ryan Slatky (Manchester, N.H.) and sophomore Kurt Gutting (Weymouth, Mass.) combine for 43 stops between the pipes.

After skating to a 2-2 draw with Salem State University on January 3, Suffolk fell at home to Franklin Pierce University in overtime on January 6, 4-3. Junior LJ Fellows (Hyannis, Mass.) joined sophomore Brian Brooks (Canton, Mass.) and junior Mikhail Bryan (Dayton, Ohio) with single tallies for the Rams, who fell despite outshooting the Ravens by a 64-29 margin. Junior Michael Levine (Clarendon Hill, Ill.) registered 25 saves for Suffolk, who has one win in six outings since topping the Penmen in their Manchester PAL/Stovepipe Tournament matchup on November 26.
