2010-11 SNHU Cheerleading Tryout Information
Athletes,
The time has come to announce Southern NH University's 2010-2011 Cheerleading try-outs!!!
Date: Saturday May 1st,
Time: 9:00AM till 2:00PM
Place: SNHU Athletic Complex in the small gym
These try-outs are to determine who will be selected to represent SNHU in both our basketball and competition seasons. They will also be the squad that participates in our camp where we will win our "bid" for Nationals in Daytona next April. If you are interested in cheering next year, we invite you to join and see if you have what it takes to wear the Gold and Blue!
For Try- Outs:
- Please wear a white or black sports bra/tank-top and black shorts.
- Cheer sneakers and white socks also required.
- Hair must be fully up off neck and bow of any color tied to pony.
- As always, no jewelry to include ALL piercings. Tattoos must be covered by tape, band-aids or some other covering.
- Lastly, and most importantly please make sure all braces, tape and or any other safety device is with you and in place for the start of try-outs.
On the SNHU cheer website download the insurance acknowledgement form and emergency contact information forms they are located on the tabs at the top of the page. You will need to bring a completed copy to the tryouts. In addition, you MUST come with a copy of your insurance card (front and back) in order to participate. Don't forget food (lunch and snacks) and water to have throughout the day.
If you unable to attend the May session a wish to cheer and Southern New Hampshire University, please contact us and we will make alternate arrangements.

SNHU CHEERLEADERS TAKE HOME THE GOLD
Your very own Southern New Hampshire Cheerleading team wowed the crowd at this past weekend's (March 6) All New England Cheerleading Championship Stunt Competition in East Haven CT. The SNHU stunt team of Miranda Socinski, Brittany Angers, Amie Noone and Kayla D'Arcangelo delivered a gold medal performance at Saturday's competition. Coaches Conley and Lund feel "this equips and positions us with the right information and direction to be successful at next month's National Competition in Daytona Florida."
SNHU Cheerleaders to Compete at NCA Championship
The SNHU Cheerleading team scored big in the preliminary rounds of the NCA Collegiate Cheerleading National Stunting Competition. These nine young athletes will be representing Southern New Hampshire University in Daytona Beach, Florida in April.
To raise money to travel to the event, the SNHU cheerleading team is raffling off an Ipod, with tickets sold at the basketball games on February 9 and 13. Tickets are also available from any cheerleader. The drawing will be held at the men's basketball game on February 13, you need not be present to win.
