    BEDFORD, N.H. – Senior Devin Gilligan (Amherst, N.H.) and graduate student Abla Chadli (Rabat, Morocco) took home male and female Athlete of the Year honors, respectively, to highlight nine major awards that were given out Monday night as the Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation celebrated the 2016-17 season and recognized its seniors at the 52nd Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony, which was held at the Manchester Country Club.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University athletic department announced Friday that its 372 student-athletes posted a department-wide grade-point average of 3.34 in the fall semester, setting a new school mark and extending a streak of consecutive semesters of a department GPA of 3.0 or better to nine.
  • SNHU Announces New State-of-the-Art Athletic Facility Set to Open Fall 2017

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University broke ground over the summer on a brand new $25-million multi-sport stadium for the Department of Athletics that will be home to men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s track & field. The facility, which will also host select field hockey home games, is expected to open in the Fall of 2017.

  • SNHU Athletics Presents Donations to CMC; Cheerleading Paints Pumpkins for Breast Care Center

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics presented Catholic Medical Center (CMC) with a check for all the donations it raised through its pink game initiatives during the 2015-16 season. The cheerleading team also gave 50 fully-painted pumpkins to CMC's Breast Care Center in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month last Thursday.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics & Recreation will be showcased on an episode of “College Sports Weekly” that will air 25 times on seven different networks over the span of nearly a month, beginning Aug. 11. The show, which is hosted by Tony Minnis and produced by Harry Cicma Productions, will be available in 130 million homes.
