Tryouts Announced for 2012-13 Cheerleading Team

TRYOUTS FOR SNHU CHEERLEADING 2012-2013

SUNDAY APRIL 22, 2012
SNHU ATHLETIC COMPLEX
12:00 - 6:00 p.m.
This is a closed tryout.  Family and friends may not sit in on the tryout process.

BRING WITH YOU:

Incoming/new to SNHU - Acceptance letter/Confirmation Stating you sent in deposit, insurance card, and a completed insurance acknowledgement form. 

Returning Student-Athletes/Current Students - SNHU ID, insurance card, and completed insurance acknowledgement form. 

ALL PROSPECTIVE STUDENT-ATHLETES SHOULD PLAN TO WEAR: SNHU colors (NAVY BLUE, YELLOW / GOLD, WHITE), cheer sneakers, wear a bow, and look athletic.

Student-Athletes will be considered by the following attributes: Attitude, Athleticism, Work Ethic, Teamwork, Ability, Coachability, as well as Academics.  

*A trainer will be on hand to tape.

SCHEDULE:

12:00 - 12:30 PAPERWORK / Information
12:30 - 2:30 MATERIAL CLINIC (Dance / Sideline / Jump Combination)
2:30 - 3:00 BREAK (you may work your tryout material or any additional skills during this break)
3:00 - 4:00 Stunts, Tumbling, and Interviews with coaching staff
4:00 - 6:00 DANCE, SIDELINE, STUNT, TUMBLE, JUMP Tryout

*Athletes will be emailed upon team selection

TRYOUT VIDEOS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITH A VALID EXCUSE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO ATTEND THE TRYOUT

*ALL VIDEO APPLICATIONS MUST BE SENT IN (high quality video a must) NO LATER than APRIL 20th. Any videos received after the 20th will NOT be considered.
