Merrimack built an 8-1 lead into the sixth inning and hung on for a 10-8 victory in the second game ... junior Andrew Garcia was 3-for-5 with three RBI, while grad student Tom Walraven went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored ... junior PJ Contreras turned in a 2-for-5, two-RBI performance, with sophomore Matt Chamberlain going 1-for-3 with two walks and scoring a pair of runs ... senior David Palmer had his worst outing of the season on three days rest, relinquishing seven runs on 10 hits, while fanning three and not walking a batter, over three-and-two-thirds innings.
