Senior pitcher Brad Monroe (Hampton Falls, NH) looks to improve upon a successful junior season in the upcoming 2012 campaign. Monroe posted a 6-3 record last season, good for a two-way tie for first on the Penmen pitching rotation. Monroe also proved to be a team leader for the Penmen, being named a captain as a junior. Pregame routine: Before each start, I begin my pregame routine by eating a subway sandwich followed by listening to Lil Wayne or Eminem. After that I start my stretching and throwing.
Something people don't know about me: I do not eat leftovers.
The moment I am most proud of: Winning the 2011 NECBL Championship, and being named a NECBL All-Star.
Favorite Athlete: My favorite athlete is Jon Lester, because of the way he composes himself and his intensity and confidence on the mound.
What items would I bring if I was stranded on a desert island: I would bring food because I'm always hungry, my iPod because I love to listen to music and just relax, and I would also want something to hunt with.
What's on my iPod: Lil Wayne, Eminem, Drake, Rihanna, and Pitbull.
In five years: I see myself playing baseball.
One item I can't live without: My cell phone because I always like to catch up with friends and keep in touch with buddies I've played with over the years.
Interesting places I have visited: I've been to Italy and Mexico.
My favorite baseball memory: Getting my first college win against rival Franklin Pierce in a extra inning walk off game at home.
