Female Athlete of the Week: Trisha Luis - Women's Soccer - Sr., F
Trisha Luis (Lowell, Mass.) scored two goals and dished an assist during a 2-0-1 week, as she led the Penmen to their first Northeast-10 Championship since 2012, picking up NE10 Championship Most Valuable Player honors.

Male Athlete of the Week: Tyler McLaren - Men's Cross Country - Sr.
Tyler McLaren (Pepperell, Mass.) led the Penmen to a fifth-place showing at the NCAA East Regional Championship on Saturday, as he garnered United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCA) All-Region honors and qualified for the NCAA National Championship with a runner-up finish in a time of 32:47.1.

Women's Soccer (14-2-5, 9-1-4 NE10)

Notes:
- The Penmen officially went 2-0-1, but won three matches, as they captured their first Northeast-10 Championship since 2012 and earned the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA Selection Show will air Monday night at 6 p.m. HERE, as SNHU learns more about its fourth NCAA Tournament berth.
- Senior Trisha Luis (Lowell, Mass.) scored two goals and dished an assist, as she was recognized as the NE10 Championship Most Valuable Player.
- Luis was joined on the NE10 All-Championship Team by junior Miranda Peloquin (Greenville, R.I.), who scored the title match's first goal, and senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.), who stopped three of five shots during the tournament.
- Senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine) also scored during the three-game stretch.

Men's Soccer (11-3-3, 8-3-2 NE10)

Notes:
- Men's soccer saw its season come to a close when it played to a 0-0 draw with Le Moyne and then fell, 4-2, on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Championship.
- Junior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped all six shots he faced.

Women's Volleyball (8-12, 4-7 NE10)

Notes:
- Volleyball played just one match last week, giving NE10-unbeaten New Haven a scare before falling in five sets.
- Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) posted 16 kills, three service aces and 23 digs, while junior Priscila Castro (Belo Horizonte, Brazil)  produced 15 kills, a pair of service aces and 20 digs.

Men's Ice Hockey (0-0-1, 0-0-0 NE10)

Notes:
- Men's ice hockey opened its season with a 1-1 tie at Framingham State on Saturday night.
- Senior netminder Ryan Slatky (Manchester, N.H.) steered aside 35 shots and classmate Chris Moquin (Hooksett, N.H.) registered the lone Penmen goal of the evening.

- The Penmen ran at the NCAA Division II East Regional Championships in Amherst, N.Y., on Saturday.
- The women placed ninth, as sophomore Jill Couto (Newton Junction, N.H.) earned United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCA) All-Region accolades with a 17th-place showing in a time of 23:46.4.
- The men finished fifth, with senior Tyler McLaren (Pepperell, Mass.) also garnering all-region honors and qualifying for the NCAA National Championship with a runner-up finish in a time of 32:47.1.

- Men's golf finished 16th at the McDonough Cup, hosted by Rollins College, at Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday.
- Junior Tyler Silver (Lebanon, N.H.) led the Penmen with a three-round total of 227 (76-74-77) to place 33rd.

COMPLETED SEASONS

Field Hockey (8-9, 4-8 NE10)
Notes:
- Field hockey began the season 5-1, including 2-0 in the Northeast-10, before hitting an eight-game slide and then wrapping up the year with three straight wins.
- Five of the losses during the eight-game skid came by just a single goal.
- Freshman Hélène Servais (Brussels, Belgium) was crowned the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year - the first member of the program ever to earn a major award from the league - after posting 19 points on eight goals and three assists.
- Sophomore Laura van der Doorn (Beverwijk, The Netherlands) was named to the NE10 All-Conference Second Team after turning in a 10-goal, four-assist, 24-point campaign.
