Female Athlete of the Week: Melanie Rennie - Field Hockey - Jr., GK
Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) made all 10 saves during a 2-0 week, stopping all 10 shots against Saint Michael's in a 1-0 penalty stroke victory Tuesday, while not seeing a bid from So. Connecticut in a 7-0 win Saturday.

Male Athlete of the Week: Alex Satrustegui - Men's Soccer - Jr., F
Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) tallied a goal and an assist during a 0-1-1 week, as he set up the 81st-minute equalizer in a 1-1 tie with 24th-ranked Merrimack on Tuesday and then staked SNHU to a 1-0 lead less than a minute into the second half of a match Saint Michael's would win, 2-1, in double overtime Friday.

Notes:
- The Penmen went 1-0-1 for the third straight week, earning the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Northeast-10 Championship. SNHU's second-place finish is its highest in the 17 years it has been a member of the NE10.
- Senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine) recorded a goal and an assist during the week. Maker set up SNHU's 85th-minute game winner that sunk 23rd-ranked Mercy, 2-1, on Wednesday and then used a complete individual effort to never quit and find the back of the net to gain the equalizer in the 73rd minute of a match the Penmen would tie Saint Rose in, 1-1.
- Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) stopped seven of the nine shots she faced. Salmon made four of five saves at Mercy and then thwarted three of four Saint Rose bids.

- Men's soccer went 0-1-1 last week, collecting the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Northeast-10 Championship.

Notes:
- Volleyball won its lone match of the week, 3-1, over So. Connecticut on Saturday for its fifth win in eight contests.
- Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) racked up 20 kills (5.00 k/s) on .333 hitting, to go along with four service aces (1.00 sa/s), 16 digs (4.00 d/s) and one block (0/25 b/s) in the win. Coronis helped the Penmen take a commanding lead in the second set with three straight aces that made it 9-1. SNHU eventually would take a 2-0 lead in the match before closing out the Owls in the fourth set.
- Junior Priscila Castro (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) added 15 kils on .314 hitting and 10 digs, with sophomore Joanne Coffey (Merrimack, N.H.) dishing 42 assists (10.50 a/s) and collecting 10 digs (2.50 d/s), while chipping in a pair of service aces (0.50 sa/s) and three kills (0.750 k/s) on .300 hitting.

- Field hockey went 1-1 last week, dropping a 4-3 heartbreaker in overtime to third-ranked Saint Anselm on Wednesday before rolling to a 12-1 victory at New Haven on Saturday.
- Junior Maddie Holt (Seabrook, N.H.) scored a pair of goals in Saturday's 7-0 win at So. Connecticut, while senior Erin Frost (E. Andover, N.H.), who netted the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 1-0 penalty stroke victory at Saint Michael's, scored once and dished a pair of assists against the Owls.
- Junior goalkeeper Melanie Rennie (Madison, Conn.) made all 10 saves during the week, stopping all 10 shots against the Purple Knights, while not seeing a bid from So. Connecticut.

- Women's tennis went 1-1 last week, reaching its 11th straight Northeast-10 Championship semifinal, before falling short of the championship match for the fourth consecutive year.
- Junior Sofia Morais (Porto, Portugal) went 3-1 during the week, clinching the first round win with a 6-2, 6-2 No. 2 singles victory against Lauren Persson, as part of a 5-0 blanking of Merrimack on Tuesday, before falling, 6-3, 6-1, to Adelphi's Elizabeth Kallenberg in a 5-1 semifinal loss. Morais teamed with classmate Rachel Wagner (Framingham, Mass.) for an 8-6 triumph against Mackenzie Blair and Persson at No. 3 doubles and earned the only point against Adelphi with an 8-3 victory over Nicole Kielan and Vanja Savic.
