MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's cross country, volleyball and women's basketball teams were all recognized by the Northeast-10 on Wednesday for attaining the highest grade-point average in their respective sports.
Men's cross country turned in a 3.435 GPA, while volleyball recorded a 3.670 and women's basketball landed a 3.604. The three teams for SNHU was second best in the conference of 24 sports.
A record 80 percent of the league's 291 teams achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher – up from 75 percent a year ago.
