1 – Chris Tsonis was named a Honorable Mention All-American
in men’s soccer by Daktronics. In addition, Jordan
Branco was named a Capital One Academic All-American.
3 – The hockey team played at the Verizon Wireless Arena for the third straight year, falling to Assumption 3-2 in overtime. Charles Wisniewski and Trevor Nelson scored goals for the Penmen.
6-Junior Sloane Sorrell scored 17 points in the second half to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a 76-66 Northeast-10 women's basketball victory over Stonehill College. Lorreta Rocha finished 7-7 from the floor and added 14 points.
10- Seniors Tory Stapleton and Lucas Croteau each finished with 12 points, leading the men’s basketball team to a 70-63 Northeast-10 victory over Merrimack College.
10-Freshman Brooke Springfield led a balanced attack with a season-high 12 points as the Penmen women’s basketball team defeated Merrimack College 74-63.
12-Freshman Lorreta Rocha of the women's basketball team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week. In addition, senior Christine Duffy was named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll.
12 – Ariel Teixeira named a Third Team All-American in women’s soccer by NSCAA, while Emily Mongeau garnered All-Region honors.
15 – Five men’s soccer
players garnered NSCAA All-Region accolades, led by Chris Tsonis
being named to the First Team.
17- Junior Greg DeSantis totaled 19 points to lead the men’s basketball team to a 74-60 non-conference victory against Queens (N.Y.) College.
17- Junior Michelle DeRoma totaled 16 points and senior Christine Duffy registered eight points and 12 assists to lead Southern New Hampshire University to a 77-58 women's basketball victory over Post University.
19-Freshman Lorreta Rocha of the women's basketball team was been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. In addition, senior Christine Duffy and junior Michelle DeRoma have been named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll.
30- Junior Sloane Sorrell totaled 14 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to lead the women’s basketball team to a 65-61 win over Dowling College in the second round of the Bridgeport Holiday Classic. The Penmen improve to 10-3 with the victory.
30- Senior Tory Stapleton finished with 19 points and eight rebounds to lead the Penmen men’s basketball team to an 84-80 victory over C.W. Post. The Penmen improved to 7-5.
