1- The Penmen women's soccer team opened the season with a 3-1
non-conference win against Holy Family University. Second half
goals came from senior Ariel Teixeira, senior Emily Donahue and
junior Kasey Morrison, with assists from sophomore Bethi Ledoux and
Emily Donahue. Junior goalkeeper Maggie Weldon made four saves to
help the Penmen to victory.
3- The Penmen men’s soccer team posted a 3-0 victory over Queens College in the season opener at Larkin Field. Freshman Mohamed Toufik tallied two goals while senior goalkeeper Joey Kapinos earned a shutout by turning aside four shots.
6- Freshman Mohamed Toufik of the Penmen men’s soccer team was named Rookie of the Week by the Northeast-10 Conference.
6- The Penmen women’s soccer team defeated Stonehill College by a score of 1-0. Senior Ariel Teixeira scored the lone goal of the game.
7- Men’s soccer opened Northeast-10 Conference play with a 1-0 victory over Saint Anselm College.
8- Senior Danielle Coffey totaled 17 kills and seven blocks to lead the Penmen women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 victory against Merrimack College in non-conference action.
10- Penmen men’s soccer edges out Dowling College with a 1-0 victory in a non-conference game. Junior Chris Tsonis scored the lone goal while senior goalkeeper Joey Kapinos made three saves.
10- The men’s soccer win over Dowling College marked the third straight shutout of the season, extending their home unbeaten streak to 14 games; with 10 straight shut outs at Larkin Field.

Jason Bays lead the men’s cross country team in 40th
place (31:02) at the Shacklette Invitational hosted by Saint
Anselm College. The team finished in 7th place
overall.
10- The SNHU women’s cross country team finished fifth in the Shacklette Invitational. Senior Emma Lundberg led the Penmen with a 20:04 five-kilometer effort, finishing eighth overall.
10- SNHU women’s tennis defeated Le Moyne College 9-0 in Northeast-10 in their season opener. This win marked the 31st straight regular season conference victory for the Penmen dating back to the 2008-09 season. In singles play, junior Alena Mukdaprakorn was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 1 and in doubles action Mukdaprakorn and junior Amanda Albuquerque were 8-4 winners at No. 1.
11- The Penmen golf team opened the season with a sixth-place finish out of 11 schools at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout at Pinehaven Country Club. The Penmen finished with a two-day total of 636, shooting a 314 on day one and a 322 on Saturday. Sophomore Chris Weilandt was the top finisher for the team, placing 13th overall with a two-day total of 155.
12, 26- Junior Chris Tsonis of the men's soccer team was named Northeast-10 Player of the Week two times in the month of September.
15- Sophomore Megan Lesczynski tallied 11 kills and 11 digs to lead the SNHU volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Merrimack College in Northeast-10 Conference action.
16- The Penmen women's tennis team earned an 8-1 win over Holy Family University. In singles action the Penmen swept all six matches.
17- Freshman Garrett Hammond ran a 28:43 race to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men’s cross country team to a 29th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth “Shriners” Cross Country Invitational.
17- Senior Emma Lundberg finished 22nd out of 258 runners with a time of 19:22 in the UMass Dartmouth “Shriners” Cross Country Invitational, leading the Penmen women’s cross country team to a 18th place finish.
17-The SNHU women’s soccer team conquered C.W. Post with a 4-3 overtime victory. Junior Kasey Morrison tied the game in 89th minute of regulation and then scored the game-winning goal 6:30 into overtime.
18- Junior Alena Mukdaprakorn reached the semifinals of the A singles draw at the Wilson/ITA East Regional
20- The Penmen women’s soccer team edged out Pace University by a score of 1-0. Senior Emily Donahue scored the only goal of the game.
20- Junior Alena Mukdaprakorn of the SNHU women's tennis team was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week, while freshman teammate Diana Vamvakitis was named the league's Co-Rookie of the Week.
21- Chris Tsonis scored in the second overtime to lead the men’s soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Stonehill College.
21- The SNHU women's volleyball defeated Saint Anselm College by a
score of 3-1. This win boosted their record to 3-5
overall. Sophomore Megan Lesczynski led the Penmen with a
team-best 15 kills and 11 digs.
24- The SNHU men’s soccer team impressively defeated Le Moyne College by a score of 4-1. Goals were scored by four different players: Chris Tsonis, Ruben Resendes, Jordan Branco and Carter Lincoln.
24- The Penmen men's tennis team opened Northeast-10 Conference play with a 9-0 win at Le Moyne College. In doubles play, the number one Penmen duo of Juan Arango-Campo and Alex Mukdaprakorn won the tiebreaker 10-5 to post a 9-8 victory.
24- The SNHU women’s cross country team finished 11th overall at the Codfish Bowl held Saturday at Franklin Park. Senior Emma Lundberg was SNHU’s top finisher, coming in 31st (19:58) for the 5K course.
27- The SNHU men's tennis team defeated Assumption College 9-0 in Northeast-10 action, improving to 2-1 and 2-0 in the NE-10.
28- SNHU men’s soccer won against Saint Michael’s College with a score of 1-0. The lone goal was scored by freshman Mohamed Toufik. This game improves the penmen to 6-2 overall, and 4-2 in the NE-10.
28- The women’s soccer team defeated Franklin Pierce University 1-0 for the second time in the last 10 years. Sophomore Ashley Jaskula scored the only goal of the game. The Penmen improved to a record 5-4 overall after this game.
28- The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team remained unbeaten with a 9-0 win against Assumption College. The Penmen, have now won 32 regular season regular season Northeast-10 matches, improving to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the league.
29- The golf team finished in second place out of five teams at the SNHU Penmen Invitational held at Lake Sunapee Country Club. The team was led by sophomore Nick Burke, who finished in second place.
