Student-Athlete Spotlight: Greg DeSantis
Junior Greg DeSantis (Trumball, Conn.) of the Southern New Hampshire University men’s basketball team has made a big impact on the program since arriving on campus in 2009. This year’s starting point guard, DeSantis is featured in this week’s Student-Athlete Spotlight giving men’s basketball fans an off-the-court look into his daily life.

Pregame routine: Naps, Pasta, Rap Music.
Some things people don’t know about me: 2nd basemen and clean-up hitter for the Big Sticks Intramural Softball team; I am the best Super Smash Bros. player on the planet; and I can dunk (sometimes).
The moment I am most proud of: Moving into SP 17.
Favorite Athlete: Kobe Bryant, most clutch player in the NBA.
Favorite meal in the SNHU Dining Center: Scrambled eggs and bacon from Ed the omelet guy.
Three items I would want if I was stranded on a desert island: My dog Kobe, a bow and arrow to hunt with, and my SNHU I.D. card so they would let me in the weight room.
What’s on my iPod: j.cole, kanye west, jay-z, drake, rick ross, lil wayne, wiz khalifa.
In five years: I have no idea where I’ll be!
One item I can’t live without: my iPhone, I use it for so many things.
Places I would like to visit someday: I would like to travel to every state in the United States.
